First and foremost, the VeloSkin team are a collective of dedicated and experienced cyclists. Gravel rash, sunburn, being unable to sit down, we have gone through it all with you. Looking over through the chemist’s shelves, and through the accessories sections of bike shops, we found that the skincare available just wasn’t cutting it.
It was not working hard enough, smartly enough nor long enough. So rather than wait for someone else, we made the decision to design and manufacture a range of specialist skincare products for cyclists - the kind of product we would wear.
We partnered with one of the UK’s leading skincare experts to help formulate the new VeloSkin range from scratch. A range specifically formulated for the needs of cyclists, taking into account the impact the great British weather has on us.
A DEDICATION
TO PERFECTION
The research was painstaking. Between the VeloSkin team, we have applied tens of iterations of moisturiser.
We have shaved our legs more times than a the Olympic volley ball team. Our rears are now smoother than… Well, you get the picture.
But it all made sense. Each time we lathered up, painted on and massaged in, we took a step closer to perfecting the range. It means you can be ultra-confident that when you purchase a Veloskin product, you’re choosing a product that has been optimised for you -
the serious cyclist.
VELOSKIN'S
TRADEMARK SCENT
You are going on a ride, not to a nightclub. Shame that too many other skincare brands forget this. We wanted something that smelled great, but did not overpower - something fresh, clean and invigorating - a fragrance for the open road, not the open-shirted nightclub.
The answer came as most great answers come - on a mind-clearing ride. Cycling through the hills of Mallorca, you can not help but take in the delicate fragrance of orange blossom. It seems to embody the whole island: sunshine, the sea and blue skies. It was an obvious decision to use orange blossom as the base scent for VeloSkin.
We blended it with the citrus-freshness of bergamot - another from Mother’s Nature’s fragrance drawer. If you’ve spent any time riding in Italy, you’ll recognise it as that wonderfully zesty smell that surrounds you as you fly down sun-drenched country roads of Northern Italy.
ADDED NATURAL
EXTRAS, NOT NASTIES
Added extras. They fall into two camps. The good kind: The bump up to first class or the chocolate mint that comes with your bill. And the not-so-good kind: Airport tax or unexpected service charges. Just like you, we are more in favour of the unexpected bonus than the nasty little surprises. Which is why you will find our VeloSkin products are free of parabens, SLS's, MCI's and Methylisothiazolinone.
We harness the natural soothing and healing powers of nature throughout the range. For instance, we’ll put shea butter in our chamois cream for its skin-nourishing properties. You’ll also discover that it contains argon oil - a natural inflammatory - and aloe vera to cool and soothe.
In total, 14 natural products go into the manufacture of the VeloSkin range. For us, it seems natural: if you’re out in nature, utilise nature.

just Thursday’s ride. The truth is, the only thing about an average day cycling in Britain is that it is anything but average. And extraordinary weather requires extraordinary skincare.
Despite the changing conditions, your skin goes through it all. Your skin is incredible, really. Constantly adapting to the conditions. It’s the ultimate technical fabric. Yet we often take it for granted.
In fact, you only notice how great it your skin is, when something goes wrong. Chapped or cracked skin. Razor burns or soreness in a place you really do not want it.
TESTED BY CYCLISTS,
NOT BUNNIES
We could have tested VeloSkin up Alpe d'Huez or along the Haute Route. Happily. But somehow that did not feel right. Instead, we tested it up moor and down Dale. Coast-to-coast and around the houses. We welcomed everything the Gods threw at us. As far as laboratory testing goes, it was quite the lab.
We are certain that we are yet to see a rabbit on a bike, which is why you’ll understand our commitment to never testing on animals. We can not promise that we will never test on our products on our production director, though...
It all adds up to a skincare range that’s strong enough to cope with whatever is thrown your way, but gentle enough to be used everyday. So if your daily commute is more Leyton to Bank on the Central Line than London to Brighton in the saddle, we have got you covered.
